The book of Mark opens up with Jesus being tested by Satan. This is followed up with multiple accounts of Jesus taking on demons. It is obvious that beyond the physical activity and teaching of Jesus there was an invisible, spiritual-realm war that occurred. It is easy to read passed these events and think that that war was unique to Jesus or that those types of events don’t happen today. However, both the work of Satan and the victory of Jesus is as real today as it was then.
For three weeks in February we will look at The Invisible War.
February 5 The Invisible War – Who is the enemy, what’s the battle, and who will win.
February 12 The Invisible War: Jesus at War. Learning from him from Mark 5.
February 19 The Invisible War: Tools for Battle
