September 5 . . . Why We Can Trust God’s Word will focus us on the heart of God’s revelation in Jesus based on John 1:17 and Hebrews 1:2. From this starting point, Pastor Zelt will teach on how we got the Scripture and why it can be trusted as the great source for our faith and life.
September 12 . . . Why We Regularly Need God’s Word. As we head into the fall kick-off emphasizing the blessings God has in store for us, Pastor Zelt has a very focused message on the deep necessity we have to engage in God’s Word regularly.
September 19 . . . Pastor Mitri Rahib from Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem will be here to speak in worship and lead a Forum following the second service. He is noted worldwide as a leader in bringing peace and caring for those in turmoil on the West Bank of Palestine. Don’t miss this very special opportunity.
September 26 . . . Being God’s Love to A World of Hurt – Over and over God tells us of his compassion for those who are hurting in the world, then gives us the chance to be his hands and feet to provide His care for them. We will focus on Matthew 25:34-40 and Christine Brietsch of Compassion Network will be here to share very practical ways that we can be engaged with the needs of those in our immediate community.
