Beyond Technology® Education
Program
Beyond
Technology is an educational program that helps the school fuse technology into
the school to improve teaching and learning. Beyond Technology uses the latest
assessment, professional development, technology curriculum and learning tools
to create an environment filled with innovation and inspiration.
In grades
Kindergarten through grade Eight, the curriculum includes word processing,
desktop publishing, keyboard skills, spreadsheets, database, multimedia, and web
page design. The program uses a thematic approach of fun and topical themes that
students and teachers love. We have a fully equipped computer lab for our
teachers and students' use.
The Beyond
Technology Education curriculum is written to a scope and sequence of learning
objectives for grades K-8 and written to ISTE standards. In addition, 4
quarterly integrations projects are developed for each grade level with the
coordination of the classroom teachers and incorporated with classroom content.
