SIX Pointers

I am so proud of those who participated in the Lutheran Schools’ Track Meet last Saturday! I heard great things about the meet and everyone seemed to enjoy it! Permission slips about the end-of-the-year field trip will be going out this week.

Curriculum News

Bible Study:  Morning devotions are led by Johann. We are learning about admirable characteristics this week.

Memory:  no memory this week

Math:  We are finishing up Unit 11: Probability and Discrete Mathematics. We are going to go over the Unit test this week and review math from the entire school year. Students will also be designing their own math board games.

English:  We are focusing on the Writing Process for the last couple weeks of school. We will be doing a lot of writing in our journals and reviewing what key components make a successful paper.

Literature:  We are continuing to read The Witch at Blackbird Pond. This week we will be focusing on vocabulary and content.

History:  We are continuing Unit 9: Industrialization and Urbanization in America. The unit test will be on Thursday. This week we will be studying the growth of America’s cities and reviewing for the test.

Art:  Birds-eye view
