What's Happening! There are lots of things going on this last month of school. please be sure to post the end of teh year calendar where it can be easily seen. One date change that needs to be highlighted is the First Grade Parent Appreciation Luncheon and Talent Show. This exciting event will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd instead of Wednesday, June 4th. On June 4th at 1:30 pm is the all school talent show for parents. This talent show requires tryouts which will take place on Monday, May 19th, Thursday, May 22nd, and Friday, May 23rd (in the music room). The first grade talent show will include every first grader and is a separate event from the all school talent show. Please encourage your student to continue to do her/his very best. This includes staying focused in class, listening carefully, doing work neatly, being considerate and courteous and using kind, up-building words. We want our words and actions to reflect God's command to "do everything in love." Thank you for your words of encouragement to your child. It makes a difference! Spelling Words (due Friday, May 23)
Please be sure your child is practicing these words at home. Ask your child what the challenge words are for the week. These usually have to do with any of our curriculum areas or holidays. Help Needed
