What kind of educational opportunities are you looking for? ____A strong academic program? ____A caring, Christian setting for your child?
____Qualified, concerned teachers? ____A community of families? ____Computer and technology program? ____Music, Art, PE, -- all part of the curriculum? ____High standards and values?
Look no
further! You’ll find them at Prince of Peace. Your child’s education is a
once-in-a-lifetime investment. Call us to schedule a visit to our campus and
see for yourself! (520) 797-8186 Prince of Peace is a WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and a National Lutheran Schools accredited school. As such, the school has a periodic review of its program, resources, and goals. We received the highest rating possible during our fall 2005 review!
Prince of
Peace students take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills each spring. The
results of those achievement tests will be given to parents at the end of the
school year. Typically, students perform in the high 70th and 80th
percentiles in all subject areas. |
It is hard to stay the course! We come to the month of May and the enthusiasm we had in August feels like a dim memory. The excitement of school has waned. We march through the days with heavier feet and the sparkle has faded. YET, the basics are just as important in May as they were in August. The teachers and staff are still looking for respect and responsibility. There is still an expectation that homework be completed and classmates build each other up. SO, where do we (teachers and students) go for encouragement and bolstering? “My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth,” and “The joy of the Lord is my strength and my salvation.” God is faithful. God doesn’t get weary. He stands ready to be our strength in August as well as May.
