Link: 75 Bible Stories You Should Know

Sunday Morning Bible Study:

8:00, 9:00, 10:30 in the Alpha Room

Learning to Walk with Jesus.
Discipleship is quite simply learning to walk with Jesus in everyday life. This study takes the life and teaching of Jesus and in large and small group study and discussion walks through the implications for living each day with him.

Spend some time in the Word before or after you worship each week!  These classes are scheduled to make it convenient for you regardless of which service you attend.  All three studies are alike, so you can even switch up which one you attend!  Stop by and check it out.

Digging Deeper

Exodus is fundamental to the events of the Old Testament and contains so many things that help us understand Jesus better.  This is a continuation of the study that started last September, but even if you did not come to that one this will be a very rich time in God’s Word.

Periodically throughout the year we will do these “Digging Deeper” studies to spend more time in a particular section or topic of the Word, mining it in a deeper way.  Everyone is invited, but leaders and teachers are especially encouraged to set aside this time and join us.

This will be led by Pastor Zelt on Saturday, February 11 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.in the Alpha and Omega Room.

Basics - A Foundational Study of the Christian Faith

The topics include:

-Is there a God and are all Gods the same?

-Who is Jesus and why is he so important?

-Where did the Bible come from and what’s it about?

-The two main things God wants us to know & believe

No need to sign-up - just come!

Second Step

Join us on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Alpha Room, beginning February 27. This class is the follow up study to Basics. If you started with Basics and want to continue, or if you have been part of Basics before, we invite you to join us for this study. Childcare is provided.

Some of the topics we will look at are:

The two basic teachings of God - Law and Gospel, The Law of God, The Holy Spirit and His work in our lives, Baptism, The Lord’s Supper.

If you have any questions, you may contact the church office or Pastor Zelt at tzelt@popfremont.org.

New Member Orientation

For those who have completed Basics & Second Step and would like to become a member of Prince of Peace, or if you would like to transfer your membership from another LCMS church, this one-evening class is for you.

If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Zelt.

Wednesday Mornings: The Prophesies

Pastor Zelt leads this study which will be on God's Voice in the Prophets

The prophets of the Old Testament are often very hard to understand and as a result we often ignore or miss the messages that God gave them to speak and the wisdom that gives us for our lives.  This is too bad because often the prophets spoke in a spiritual climate very much like what we live in today.

This study will look at the setting, then the prophet’s message in order to apply it to our own lives.

Everyone is welcome to join this study led by Pastor Zelt in the Alpha room from 10:30-11:30 on Wednesdays.

GriefShare on Tuesday Evenings

GriefShare is a program of 13 sessions designed to help people recover from the deep hurt of the loss of a loved one. Each session consists of a 45-minute video seminar and 45 minutes of participants sharing their experiences and their reactions to the video instruction.

Lynn Hood will lead our Tuesday evening group from 7:00 – 8:30 pm beginning Tuesday, March 6.

If you wish to participate or would like further information please contact either the church office or Pastor Dave Sauer.
