Caroling

This afternoon you can help spread some “Joy to the World” as we visit health care centers, retirement communities, and the homes of home-bound members. We will gather at 1:45 in the Fellowship Hall, choose up sides, and go out in teams. We will return around 5:00 for a hot supper. We welcome you to join us.

Living Nativity

This year will experience the return of our Living Nativity on Fremont Blvd.  It has new and very impressive sets in order to draw our community into the event we celebrate:  The birth of Jesus!

It will be held Friday through Sunday nights, December 9-11, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Here’s how you can help:

Be a still-life actor or actress.  We need 180 volunteers – men, women, and children over 10 years of age – to be shepherds, magi, magi servants, Mary, angels, or Joseph.  It’s fun, it’s simple, it’s a great witness to our community, and it’s very meaningful.

You will be 30 minutes on at a time.  Sign up in the Gathering Place or call the church office.

Be a host in the hospitality tent that will provide hot chocolate and cider, CD’s and booklets about Christmas, an invitation to worship, and a friendly face.

Be a Petting Corral host to help any of our little visitors feel safe.

Help with set-up.  The final construction the week of December 5.  We need builders and painters.  If you can help talk with Rod West, email him at moose3130@sbcglobal.net
